You shouldn't pay rent to edit your own site.
Most content tools are landlords. They host your content on their servers and charge you every month, forever — whether you touch it or not. Stop paying, and your site leaves with them.
okno is the opposite bet. Your site stays on your hosting. Your content stays in your repository as plain files you can read and own. okno is only the editor: it shows up when you sign in, and disappears when you're done.
So you pay for what you actually do — €9 for a day of editing, and never more than €180 in a year, however much you edit. No subscription, no auto-renew, no counting people. A ceiling, not a bill.
Everything else follows from subtraction. Dead simple, but capable. Quiet by default. The fewer decisions it forces on you, the better it's working.
